OVER IN THE MEADOW

Over in the meadow in the sand in the sun, [DRAW sun]

Lived a little mommy turtle, [DRAW turtle] and her little turtle one. [DRAW one]

"Dig!" said the mommy.

"I dig!" said the one. [DRAW dig]

And he dug a hole in the sand in the sun.

Over in the meadow where the stream runs blue, [DRAW stream]

Lived a little mommy fish, [DRAW fish] and her little fishes two.
[DRAW two]

"Swim!" said the mommy.

"We swim!" said the two. [DRAW swim]

And they swam and they splashed where the stream runs blue.

Over in the meadow in a hole in a tree, [DRAW hole in a tree]

Lived a little mommy bird [DRAW bird] and her little birdies three. [DRAW three]

"Sing!" said the mommy.

"We sing!" said the three. [DRAW sing]

And they sang and were happy in their hole in the tree.

Over in the meadow in the reeds by the shore, [DRAW reeds]

Lived a little mommy frog [DRAW frog] and her little froggies four. [DRAW four]

"Splash!" said the mommy.

"We splash!" said the four. [DRAW splash]

And they splashed in the water in the reeds by the shore.

Over in the meadow in a snug bee hive, [DRAW hive]

Lived a little mommy bee, [DRAW bee] and her little honeys five.
[DRAW five]

"Buzz!" said the mommy.

"We buzz!" said the five.[DRAW buzz]

And they buzzed and were busy in their snug bee hive.

Over in the meadow in a house made of sticks, [DRAW house]

Lived a little mommy beaver, [DRAW beaver] and her little beavers six. [DRAW six]

"Build!" said the mommy.

"We build!" said the six. [DRAW house]

And they built all day on that house made of sticks.

Over in the meadow in the grass soft and even, [DRAW grass]

Lived a little mommy snake, [DRAW snake] and her little snakes seven. [DRAW seven]

"Slither!" said the mommy.

"We slither!" said the seven. [DRAW slither]

And they slithered and they slid through the grass soft and even.

Over in the meadow by an old rusty gate, [DRAW gate]

Lived a little mommy spider, [DRAW spider] and her little spiders eight. [DRAW eight]

"Spin!" said the mommy.

"We spin!" said the eight. [DRAW spin]

And they spun their webs on that old rusty gate.

Over in the meadow in a stand of pine, [DRAW pine]

Lived a little mommy owl, [DRAW owl] and her little owls nine.
[DRAW nine]

"Swoop!" said the mommy.

"We swoop!" said the nine. [DRAW swoop]

And they swooped and they soared through that stand of pine.

Over in the meadow in a soft shady glen, [DRAW glen]

Lived a little mommy firefly, [DRAW firefly] and her little flies ten. [DRAW ten]

"Flicker!" said the mommy.

"We flicker!" said the ten. [DRAW flicker]

And they flickered and they flitted through the soft shady glen.
