I never travel more than a few inches in any direction, but I can take you to places of mystery and wonder. I cannot see and I cannot think, but I can help you to see and learn. I have a tail, but no whiskers and no teeth. My body would fit comfortably into the palm of your hand. I am a distant cousin to a famous cultural icon from California, but I am anonymous. I consume energy, but I am never allowed to be around food. I have no use for a zipper, but I would be helpless if I didn't have at least one button. What am I?
