TRI-SQUAREThis exercise is a more sophisticated version of rubbing your tummy and patting your head at the same time. It is a good exercise for getting both sides of your brain working at the same time on different problems. And your left brain doesn't get to boss your right brain around like it usually does, so it's tricky. But fun.
![]() You are going to do what Jesse is doing but in mirror-image -- you are going to trace a triangle in the air with your left index finger while simultaneously tracing a square (with the same length of sides) with your right index finger. Actually, to the count of 12, you will trace over the triangle four times and the square three times. By the end of the 12 count your fingers will end up in the same position they were in when you started.
![]() Trace down... "One...", across the bottom "Two..." (Your left index finger will go to the left, your right finger to the right.) and up (...diagonally with your left to complete the first triangle and straight up with your right to make the third side of the square...) "Three."
![]() "Four." finishes the top of the square and takes your left finger down on the first leg of the second triangle.
![]() "Five. Six." complete the second triangle (on the left) and one side and the bottom of the square (on the right).
![]() "Seven. Eight." complete the second square and the down stroke and bottom stroke of the third triangle.
![]() "Nine." completes the third triangle and draws the first (down) stroke of the third square.
![]() "Ten. Eleven. Twelve." traces the fourth and final triangle, and completes the final three strokes (across to the right, up, across to the left) to complete the third and final square.
